Kingdom Cards™ — Battle for Truth · Official Game Rules · Version 1.0
Two sides face off in a strategy battle: a Kingdom Warrior, standing in the Armor of God, and the Enemy Strategist, working the enemy’s tricks. The enemy side can be intelligent and difficult — but the game always teaches that Christ is greater than the enemy. The dice bring the excitement; Scripture and strategy are what win — nobody wins just for rolling a six.
1 · Game Modes
- Kingdom vs. Enemy (1v1) — One player controls a Kingdom Warrior; the other controls the Enemy Deck. Each works toward their own victory conditions.
- Solo Battle (1 player) — Fight computer-controlled enemies. The computer picks enemy skills by difficulty level.
- Kingdom Alliance (2–4 players) — Players join forces against computer-controlled enemy bosses. Shared strategy; each player controls their own warrior.
- Training Academy — Control either side to learn every card, attack, defense, Scripture counter, and weakness. No ranking points.
Versus the Computer (in this game) — Play Kingdom vs. Enemy (Mode 1) against a computer Enemy Strategist, at your choice of three strengths: Little Warriors (the computer plays simple moves while it learns), Kingdom Warriors (a fair fight), or Mighty in Battle (the computer at its strongest). Same statistics, dice, Battle Points, and objectives as a two-player match.
2 · Starting Statistics

Each side brings a 20-card deck. A match lasts a maximum of 10 rounds — one turn per player per round.
3 · The Dice System
Roll the die at the start of your turn — the roll sets your Action Points for that turn. You may take multiple actions, up to the rolled allowance:

An ultimate still requires the correct cards and resources — a six does not automatically win the battle.
4 · Battle Points
Battle Points are awarded once per qualifying action. Both sides score by the same rules — and either side may attempt Scripture challenges.

5 · How You Win
There are three ways to win a match:
- Knockout — Reduce the opposing active character’s HP to 0.
- Points — After 10 rounds with no knockout, the highest Battle Points wins.
- Objective — Complete three battlefield objectives while keeping your active character above 0 HP.
If Battle Points are tied after round 10, play one sudden-death round — more Battle Points in that round wins; repeat only if still tied.
The teaching guardrail: an enemy victory represents a temporary tactical setback — never the defeat of Christ, and never a judgment about anyone’s salvation.
6 · Enemy Characters & Skills
Every enemy has a unique style, weakness, and Scripture counter. These are symbolic characters — not claims about what demons literally look like.
FEAR — The Shadow Whisperer
Paralyzing Doubt: spend 2 Influence to reduce the warrior’s next dice roll by 1 (minimum 1).
Counter: Shield of Faith + 2 Timothy 1:7
PRIDE — The Fallen Crown
False Glory: spend 2 Influence to disable one Armor card for one turn.
Counter: Humility + James 4:6
DOUBT — The Confuser
Clouded Mind: spend 1 Influence to hide one random card in the warrior’s hand for one turn.
Counter: God’s Promises + James 1:6
BITTERNESS — The Thorn Keeper
Root of Resentment: spend 2 Influence to deal 5 damage at the end of the next two warrior turns.
Counter: Forgiveness + Ephesians 4:31–32
TEMPTATION — The Deceiver
Beautiful Lie: spend 2 Influence to make the warrior choose between two face-down challenge cards, one harder than the other.
Counter: Sword of the Spirit + Matthew 4:1–11
7 · When a Card Comes to Life
Summoning a card follows the same sequence every time:
- The player selects an Armor, Identity, Hero, or Enemy card.
- The card rises from the board and glows.
- A 3D character emerges.
- The character enters the battlefield and faces the opponent.
- Players choose actions from dice rolls and available cards.
- Characters attack, defend, react, and perform special animations.
- The game updates health, Battle Points, Faith, Influence, and card effects.
8 · Scripture Counter System
When an enemy skill lands, the game presents a Scripture challenge. For example — Fear’s Paralyzing Doubt against the Shield of Faith:
“Which Scripture teaches that God has not given us the spirit of fear?”

- 2 Timothy 1:7
- Psalm 23:1
- John 11:35
The answer choices are shuffled each time, so position can’t be memorized. A child-friendly mode offers simpler questions. A correct answer cancels the linked enemy status effect — it does not undo HP damage already dealt, and it does not by itself win the match.
9 · How a Complete Turn Works
Kingdom player’s turn:
- Draw one card.
- Roll the dice.
- Spend Action Points to summon, attack, defend, or use abilities.
- Resolve Scripture challenges and counterattacks.
- Award points, apply damage, end turn.
Enemy player’s turn:
- Draw one Enemy or Tactic card.
- Roll the dice.
- Spend Action Points and Influence on attacks or deception skills.
- Resolve the Kingdom player’s counters.
- Award points, apply damage, end turn.
- Both sides gain 1 resource token at the start of their turn, up to a maximum of 5. Skills require both their Action Point and resource costs.
- Damage: basic attack 10 · standard skill 15 · powerful skill 20.
- Guard reduces the next incoming attack by 10.
- Each character may use only one ultimate per match.
10 · Progression & Rewards — Kingdom Experience (XP)

Both sides earn learning XP — the enemy side earns it for studying tactics and identifying biblical counters. XP unlocks character appearances, arenas, animations, card backs, and additional Bible lessons.
No pay-to-compete: players should never have to pay for stronger characters to stay competitive.
